Streams was started as a ministry with two goals:
The first goal is to provide discipleship training for new believers who don’t necessarily fit into a standard YWAM Discipleship Training School (DTS) model because they are a full-time student or have a full-time job, but who still like the DNA of YWAM.
The second goal is to equip local Christians to be able to eventually start their own small groups or house churches.
Our heart behind Streams is to make disciples of Jesus who can in turn disciple others, helping to fulfil the Great Commission in Matthew 28: “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.”
We hope that you would discover how to be a disciple of Jesus and to make disciples. We want this to be interactive, as well as to take what you’ve learnt here and apply it in your personal life. Perhaps some of what you've taken away from Streams might come up in conversation while you are at work with others, or around your dinner table at home. This is another example of training, sending, and multiplying: one of our values here at YWAM Bridges of Life.
We meet on Monday evenings from
8 - 9.30pm (French time) in Saint-Hippolyte-du-Fort and livestream each session over the internet.
Each session comprises worship, teaching, practical application, and fellowship, and is in both English and French.
We look forward to having you join us in Streams!
