In the New Testament, we find many stories of Jesus around a table. We see Him teaching about the world we live in and the world He came from. We want to explore the richness of both the spiritual and physical worlds Jesus was speaking about. We see these worlds coming together around a table as we share food, drinks, stories, laughter, tears, prayers, and life.

As we spend time at God’s table we receive healing as He makes beauty from our brokenness. It is a place to be revived as we rest in His presence and we receive tools to go from surviving to thriving. With this new richness of life we reach outward to invite others to share in the wonderful banquet that is life with God. This DTS is set up to inspire and cultivate growth in your relationship with God and treasure your place at His table.

The Life Around The Table DTS begins with a 12-week lecture phase. This time is designed to help you know God. Speakers will come each week to teach on different topics and equip you to live life in step with God.

These topics include:

• Nature & Character of God

• Hearing the Voice of God

• Father Heart of God

• Relationships

• Life in the Spirit & Spiritual Warfare

• Missions

• Reading through the Bible

• Evangelism

• Fear of the Lord

• Identity in Christ

Throughout the lecture phase, you’ll spend time in class, listening to teaching, worshipping, praying, reading the Bible, serving each other, participating in weekly outreach, and sharing in one-on-one times with a staff member. You will also have a one week local outreach during Lecture Phase to look forward to, giving you a taste of the mission field.

In addition, the Life Around The Table DTS will explore the power and gifts of Kingdom Hospitality. We will take a few hours each week of lecture to provided you with practical tools and information on topics like community, prayer, hospitality, beauty, wine, cheese, and coffee.

The second phase of your DTS is a 12-week outreach. You will travel to a different country putting into practice all God has been teaching you during the lecture phase. Every outreach looks different but the heart is the same: to make God known. Typical activities include evangelism, mercy ministries, teaching, preaching, prophesying, children’s ministry, and presenting Jesus in a variety of other creative and apostolic ways. Previous teams have gone to Italy, Cyprus, French Polynesia, and South Africa.
