​​Hospitality is at the very heart of God’s story. From the wedding banquet to Jesus inviting Himself to dine with Zacchaeus, Scripture reveals that the table is a place of invitation, intimacy, and belonging. We love because He first loved us, and that love is often expressed through meals, fellowship, and the simple yet profound act of sharing life together. 

Around the table, Jesus revealed the Kingdom as he broke bread with His disciples, multiplied food for the hungry, and welcomed the outcast into communion. The table becomes more than just a place to eat; it is a place where God’s heart for His people is revealed, where identity is restored, and where community is formed.

The Life Around the Table DTS is designed to help you step into God’s vision of hospitality as a lifestyle of discipleship. Together, we will explore how hospitality reflects the very nature of Christ who opened His life and His table to all. Through teaching, practice, and living life together, you will experience the transforming power of God’s invitation to intimacy and connection, and learn how to extend that same invitation to others. The table is not only where we encounter God’s love, but also where His Kingdom multiplies.

The Life Around The Table DTS begins with a 12-week lecture phase. This time is designed to help you know God and grow in intimacy with him. Speakers will come each week to teach on different topics and equip you to live life in step with God.

These topics include:

• Nature & Character of God

• Hearing the Voice of God

• Father Heart of God

• Life in the Spirit & Spiritual Warfare

• Missions

• The Bible

• Evangelism

• Fear of the Lord​

Throughout the lecture phase, you’ll spend time in class, listening to teaching, worshipping, praying, reading the Bible, serving each other, participating in weekly outreach, and sharing in one-on-one times with a staff member. You will also have a one week local outreach during Lecture Phase to look forward to, giving you a taste of the mission field.

In addition, the Life Around The Table DTS will explore the power and gifts of Kingdom Hospitality. We will take a few hours each week of lecture to provided you with practical tools and information on topics like community, prayer, hospitality, beauty, wine, cheese, and coffee.

The second phase of your DTS is a 12-week outreach. You will travel to a different country (location to be decided) putting into practice all God has been teaching you during the lecture phase. Every outreach looks different but the heart is the same: to make God known. Typical activities include evangelism, mercy ministries, teaching, preaching, prophesying, children’s ministry, and presenting Jesus in a variety of other creative and apostolic ways. Previous teams have gone to Italy, Cyprus, French Polynesia, and South Africa.
