God has been teaching and demonstrating His Kingdom since the beginning of creation. He taught Adam and Eve to be stewards of the earth until the fall; He taught Moses how to bring basic hygiene and health practices to a people in the desert. The practical demonstration of justice and compassion were written into the Mosaic law, and Jesus fulfilled all of these when He came and demonstrated the Kingdom of God in ways never seen before. On the "Bringing the Kingdom"  DTS, students will learn to bring the Kingdom of God in practical and spiritual ways to change the lives of both individuals and communities as they are impacted with the powerful message and hope of the gospel. 

This DTS will train students in the usual curriculum as well as some basic health and nutrition training, traffic proof training, hygiene and safe water practices and how to walk in the gifts of Holy Spirit as part of sharing the gospel, with an emphasis on worship and intercession.

The DTS begins with a 12-week lecture phase. This time is designed to help you know God. Speakers will come each week to teach on different topics and equip you to live life in step with God.

• Father Heart of God

• Relationships

• Life in the Spirit & Spiritual Warfare

• Missions

• Evangelism

• Fear of the Lord

• Identity in Christ

• Primary Health Care

• Children at Risk

• Water Technology

Throughout the Lecture Phase, we’ll spend time in class, listening to teaching, worshipping, praying, serving the community in daily tasks, and sharing in small groups and one-on-ones with staff. We will also spend time learning practical basic primary health care skills, how to bring safe drinking water and hygiene practices through appropriate technology and education, and how to minister effectively to children at risk.

Outreach is the second 12-week phase of your DTS and will take place in different countries in the world. Some places we have sent teams to in the past are different cities in France (Paris, Montpellier, Nantes, Lyon, Marseille), Kosovo, Togo, French Polynesia, Thailand, India, Nepal, Cambodia, Senegal, and the Gambia. The Outreach is where you get to expand your horizons and put into practice all God has been teaching you during the lecture phase.

We will spend time working alongside existing clinics, children ministries, and rural communities to bring a practical demonstration of the compassion of Jesus with the skills learnt during the lecture phase. Other activities will include: evangelism, mercy ministries, teaching, children’s ministries, preaching, prophesying and reaching out to show Jesus in a variety of other creative and apostolic ways.
