BRINGING THE KINGDOM DTS
Living in His Kingdom, practically restoring life
“Jesus ministered from place to place throughout all of the province of Galilee. He taught in the synagogues, preaching the hope of the kingdom realm and healing every kind of sickness and disease among the people.”
God has been teaching and demonstrating His Kingdom since the beginning of creation. He taught Adam and Eve to be stewards of the earth until the fall; He taught Moses how to bring basic hygiene and health practices to a people in the desert. The practical demonstration of justice and compassion were written into the Mosaic law, and Jesus fulfilled all of these when He came and demonstrated the Kingdom of God in ways never seen before. On the "Bringing the Kingdom" DTS, students will learn to bring the Kingdom of God in practical and spiritual ways to change the lives of both individuals and communities as they are impacted with the powerful message and hope of the gospel.
The bringing the Kingdom DTS will train students in the usual DTS curriculum as well as some basic health and nutrition training, traffic proof training, hygeine and safe water practices and how to walk in the gifts of Holy Spirit as part of sharing the gospel, with an emphasis on worship and intercession.
The Compassion DTS includes a 12-week Lecture Phase with a different topic each week.
These topics include:
Nature & Character of God
Hearing the Voice of God
Father Heart of God
Life in the Spirit & Spiritual Warfare
Worship and Intercession
Fear of the Lord
Jesus and the Cross
Throughout the lecture phase, you’ll spend time in class, listening to teaching, worshipping, praying, reading the Bible, serving each other, participating in weekly outreach, and sharing in one-on-one times with a staff member.
Outreach is the second 12-13 week phase of your DTS and will take place in different countries in the world. Some places we have sent teams to in the past are different cities in France (Paris, Montpellier, Nantes, Lyon, Marseille), Kosovo, Togo, French Polynesia, Thailand, India, Nepal, Cambodia and Guatemala. The Outreach is where you get to expand your horizons and put into practice all God has been teaching you during the lecture phase.
Outreach activities include working alongside health clinics, teaching nutrition, health and basic dental hygiene, children ministry, ministering to the homeless, evangelism, preaching, praying for healing, bringing hygiene and safe water practices, and how to walk with Holy Spirit in a way that brings hope, joy and salvation.
